When shopping at Ole Mathiesen A/S you can pay with Visa, MasterCard, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay Pal and bank transfer. If you pay by bank transfer, you are not protected by the scheme granting the right to object. No fees are charged for credit cards. The payment will be on hold and will not be drawn from your credit account until the goods are dispatched.
Following the purchase, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. Depending on your country/region prices will be available in DKK, US$ or Euro.
Ole Mathiesen A/S is not responsible force majeure. We strive to inform you as soon as possible on how to solve the on going process.
If you choose to pay with international payment cards, the amount is reserved immediately. The amount is reserved on your card or account until:
1. We deduct the amount from your card, when we send the item.
2. Until the amount is released according to agreement with your bank.
At Ole Mathiesen you can pay with the following international cards:

The expiration periods for reservations on VISA and Mastercard will be a maximum of 14 business days.
If a price is manifestly incorrect and you reasonably should have discovered this, we are not obligated to supply the product in question at the wrong price.
Gift vouchers which have been purchased physically in our store, cannot be used in the webshop.
Ole Mathiesen A/S ensures prompt delivery service within 2 – 4 days. We will ship your entire order, meaning that delivery will be delayed if one of the ordered products is out of stock. When placing an order after 2pm, delivery will be prolonged by 24 hours. In case a product cannot be delivered as indicated, we will contact you within 2 – 4 business days.
We offer free standard delivery for orders over 2000 DKK. For national orders less than 2000 DKK we charge 45 DKK. For international orders we charge 150 DKK. Our packages are forwarded using GLS or Fedex. All orders with danish shipping destination are included VAT. All orders with EU shipping destinations are without danish VAT but with local taxes added. All orders with shipping destination outside the EU are without VAT. Please notice that if you have chosen the correct shipping destination the prices are already displayed without the VAT. This should not be perceived as a discount, rather a compensation to the 'customs, duty fees, local tax and additional handling costs' that you should expect and to which we do not cover. In other words all import charges are at your own expense. Import charges and duties are a strict legal matter and varies from country/state, which we are not eligible to advise on. We recommend you to contact your local customs office for more exact information.
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. The right of cancellation period expires 14 days from the day you receive the product. If you have ordered several items in the same purchase, and they are delivered serperately, the period runs from the day you received the last item.
For orders placed between 1st of December and 24th of December, the right of cancellation period is effective from 24th of December the same year.

Please state clearly that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. You may also use our standard cancellation form and return it with the product. A standard cancellation form is enclosed with your order confirmation and you can also find it here. You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods, unless you inform us at the same time.
If you have bought more than one item from us, you may return one or several items, even if they were bought in a single order. Please note that freight charges will not be refunded if you cancel part of your purchase.
You must return your order without undue delay and no later than 14 days after having notified us. You must pay any expenses related to the return of the product. When returning the product you are responsible for ensuring proper wrapping/packaging of the product and you bear the risk of the product from the time you received it. We encourage you to use Track & Trace. Remeber to enclose a copy of the order confirmation. The handling will be faster if you also fill in our standard cancellation form here. Please note! We do not accept packages sent COD.
The product most be in perfect condition when returning. This means that you can try on the product, just as you would do at a store. If the product has been tested beyond the above, we consider the product to be used, which means that upon return of the product, you will only receive a part or nothing of the purchase amount, depending on the commercial value of the product. For example, a watch bracelet must not be shortened. In order to get a full refund you must only do what you would do at a physical store. You may try on the product but not actually start using it. We recommend that you return the article in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the article.
If you exercise your right of cancellation we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery cost which does not apply, however, to extra delivery costs if you have chosen a form of delivery other than the cheapest standard form of delivery which we offer, without undue delay. The refund will happen no later than 14 days from the day when we have received your notification that you want to cancel the agreement. Your refund will automatically be processed and the total price of the items will be transferred back to the card that made the purchase. It takes a few business days for the refund to go through, however, for international credit cards, this process can be prolonged. Please do not hesitate to contact us to get an update on your refund. Pursuant to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, Ole Mathiesen A/S provides a two year warranty right to claim compensation for a defective product. This covers manufacturing defects and defects in material. The right to claim compensation does not cover defects, damage or wearing which is a direct or indirect result of faulty operation, poor maintenance, violence or unauthorized actions. Claim for compensation due to faults and defects must be notified to us within reasonable time. Subsequently, the product must be returned to our aftersales department for examination in order to determine the condition of the product.

We register your personal data for the purpose of being able to deliver your product. The above information will be transmitted and stored electronically for two years, after which time it will be deleted.
When personal information is gathered via our website, we ensure that we always obtain your express consent, so that you are informed of exactly what type of information we gather and why.
In addition, we work with a number of other companies who store and process data. These companies process the data exclusively on our behalf, and must not use them for their own purposes. We work only with processors of data in the EU or in contries where your data will be given adequate protection.
All information is stored securely and is only available to trusted employees with Ole Mathiesen A/S. Information given to www.olemathiesen.com / dk / EU and US will at no point in time be given to third parties, and we do not register any sensitive information.
Being registered with Ole Mathiesen A/S, you will always have a right to object to the registration. You also have a right to receive knowledge of the information registered about you. For security reasons we do not store any credit card information related to payment.
Only during purchase a certain amount of information will be transferred to Pensopay. The transfer is performed under tight security via a secured payment link. The transaction is handled via Stripe which ensures compliance with the current security requirements.

Your personal data will be saved for up to two years after a purchase, in order to document our sales and accounting records to the authorities if questions should arise.
